Within our Supply & Energy Management business, we manage one of Europe's most diverse energy portfolios across more than 20 platforms. We are looking for a Local Data & Digital Officer to lead our data and digital transformation at BP UK in London.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain a clear Data & Digital transformation roadmap aligned with BP UK priorities and central guidelines.
- Work with business teams to discover and qualify new use cases, challenging assumptions and refining needs.
- Apply the Central Data Adoption framework locally, turning global standards into practical daily routines.
- Set up and enforce data governance roles and quality standards, including Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians.
- Create Data Health dashboards to measure data quality as a business performance indicator.
- Coordinate delivery with technology teams, balancing fast experimentation with disciplined, scalable deployment.
- Identify Generative AI opportunities with a focus on practical value, responsible use, and risk management.
- Champion a data-driven culture across the local organisation.
