Overview
Project Development Manager at ENGIE. We are leading the energy transition and looking for a dynamic Project Development Manager to drive renewable energy projects, particularly in biogas and anaerobic digestion. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on sustainable energy solutions within a diverse, innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for project execution from development committee to final investment decision
- Manage and coordinate internal teams and external consultants to deliver planning permissions and project milestones
- Develop and implement strategies to accelerate project development, optimizing CAPEX, OPEX, and DEVEX
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
- Prepare investment notes and associated documentation for investment committees
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance
What You Will Bring To The Role
- A seasoned professional with 5+ years of project management experience in renewable energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of biogas, anaerobic digestion, or broader energy markets, including regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive complex projects
- Skilled in risk assessment and financial modelling of renewable energy projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Technical, engineering, or finance background (preferred)
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable with excellent attention to detail
- Commercially aware with a strategic mindset and focus on continuous improvement
Job Based In
