At ENGIE, we are accelerating the energy transition by developing renewable energy projects across the UK and Ireland. Our Renewables team delivers onshore wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems that power communities and protect the planet. We are looking for a motivated graduate engineer to join our Engineering team. You will contribute to real projects from day one, gaining hands-on experience while building the foundations of a rewarding career in clean energy.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development and execution of onshore wind, solar, and BESS projects across the UK and Ireland
  • Produce project layout designs and energy assessments for renewable energy schemes
  • Review technical specifications of equipment and contribute to electrical design production
  • Assist in securing grid connections and coordinating engineering deliverables
  • Support projects through development, pre-construction, construction, and operations phases
  • Contribute to data analytics, reporting, and technical documentation
  • Work towards a project engineer role with increasing responsibility over time

What You Bring

  • A 2:1 degree or above in electrical engineering, electronics, control systems
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills with confidence to engage clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • A demonstrable interest in renewable energy and engineering
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driving licence, as occasional travel to project sites is required

Desirable experience includes load flow analysis, SCADA systems, Python, Power BI, renewable resource software such as PVSyst or WindPro, GIS or CAD tools, and membership of a relevant professional institution.

Location

London. Some travel to project sites across the UK and Ireland will be required.
