What You'll Do
- Country-Level Leadership & Coordination
- Align GBUs, executives, and functions on zero-harm objectives
- Lead country-wide reporting, governance, and performance tracking
- Health & Safety (Office + Country)
- Implement Group H&S policies, training, and campaigns
- Own office safety governance (fire marshals, first aid, compliance)
- Monitor UK regulatory changes and ensure alignment
- Physical Security
- Ensure compliance with Group security framework (COR8b)
- Oversee security setup for new assets
- Deliver security awareness + training rollout
- Crisis Management & Business Continuity
- Own the UK crisis management framework
- Lead simulation exercises, resilience testing, preparedness
- Advise senior leadership during crisis events
What You Bring
- Advanced degree in Health & Safety, Crisis Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 to 10 years of senior leadership experience in H&S and crisis management within complex organisations.
- Proven track record of transversal leadership and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of UK health and safety regulations and the energy sector landscape.
- Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
- Ability to translate strategic vision into clear, actionable plans across multiple teams.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
Location & Travel
- Base: London Office (Hybrid – 2 days minimum per week)
- Travel: National coverage across the UK (as and when required)
