We now seek a fully experienced Quality Manager to be based in our London office.
Role ResponsibilitiesThis role reports into the Head of Business Operations, who leads on ISO Framework oversight and strategic alignment. The Quality Manager leads the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS) with autonomy, ensuring effective implementation, continuous improvement, and audit readiness. The role collaborates with ISO representatives (14001, 37001, 45001, and 50001) to maintain compliance and advance the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Lead the maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 QMS.
- Collaborate with ISO Representatives to ensure obligations are met and documented.
- Support with coordination of 6-monthly Management Reviews, preparing and collating input content/review materials, and tracking progress on outputs.
- Review compliance frameworks, gap analyses, and risk registers to drive improvements.
- Ensure resources for compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Partner with teams to resolve non-compliances and build awareness of compliance obligations.
- Continuously monitor, report, and analyse compliance performance, data trends, and key risk indicators (KRIs) to proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis, embedding lessons learned into the management system and future practices.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions to maintain ISO certifications.
- Provide occasional input to data governance activities as needed.
- Lead the global internal ISO audits for business and project delivery.
- Lead the global internal ISO audit programme for business and project delivery processes, identifying gaps and driving improvements.
- Support function and project teams in adhering to established procedures and standards.
- Deliver impactful training, awareness sessions, and inductions.
- Coordinate Project Management Clinics, including scheduling, communications, securing speakers, and presenting on key topics.
- Manage customer satisfaction surveys.
- Contribute to transitioning project delivery procedures into Planisware.
- Collaborate with the Director of Quality – Engineering & Delivery on delivery process monitoring and improvements.
- The Head of Business Operations leads on ISO Framework oversight, strategic alignment, and chairs Management Reviews. The Quality Manager provides operational support for coordinating the review and participates in the meeting as the Quality Management System representative.
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in a senior quality management or compliance role, with a proven track record in leading management systems and driving continuous improvement.
- Extensive experience developing, implementing, and managing ISO Management Systems, particularly ISO 9001 (Quality).
- Knowledge of other ISO standards: ISO 14001, 37001, 45001, 50001.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, with demonstrated ability to plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits.
- Expertise in audit readiness and lifecycle management, including corrective action tracking and embedding lessons learned.
- Experience supporting or leading project management activities; formal qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable but not essential.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO standards, QMS, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability in process improvement, delivery assurance, and audit management.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiar with data governance, GDPR, and project management principles.
- Skilled in training, prioritisation, and driving continuous improvement.
- Background in consulting or construction preferred.
- Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy.
