PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer is responsible for defining and leading the overall marketing, brand, product, and commercial strategy to support sustainable growth within the UK B2B energy supply market. The role sets the long‑term market vision, shapes the value proposition, drives demand generation, and aligns cross‑functional teams to elevate the organisation’s commercial positioning, customer understanding, and strategic direction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Define and lead the overall marketing strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Shape value propositions and long‑term market vision.
  • Own lead‑generation strategy, channels, and performance.
  • Oversee campaign planning, execution and optimisation across digital and traditional channels.
  • Partner with the Chief Sales Officer to align pipeline targets and conversion performance.
  • Drive market intelligence, competitive analysis and customer insight.
  • Oversee internal and external communications, PR, and corporate narrative, including crisis management, working closely with the Country Communications Team.
  • Collaborate with operations, commercial and pricing teams to shape propositions and ensure effective go‑to‑market plans.
