As a UK Settlements Analyst in London, you\βll play a crucial role in our Supply & Energy Management (SEM) team, helping us maintain our position as a global leader in low-carbon energy supply and services.

Overview of what you will do
Validate and confirm transactions across various commodity markets and trading counterparties
Prepare and validate commodity invoices and associated fees
Manage daily cash margining processes with trading counterparties
Resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and regulatory requirements
Contribute to financial and trading reporting for various business units
Develop and maintain efficient administrative processes with clear audit trails
What you will bring to the role
At least 2 years of experience in a Back Office environment within the UK/European energy industry
Strong knowledge of MS Office, with coding skills (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL, Power BI) considered favorably
Experience with ETRM systems for the energy industry, such as Orchestrade (OT), is a plus
Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work without direct supervision
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Clear and confident communication style with a customer focus
Adaptable to change and able to work effectively in a small team environment
