Engenda are looking to recruit an experienced Project HSE Manager to join one of the UK's largest Energy from Waste construction projects in North London. This is a genuine long-term opportunity on a major project, offering stability, a strong project team, and the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure scheme.
We're looking for someone who is confident operating on a busy construction site, can build positive relationships with both client and contractor teams, and is passionate about driving high standards of safety performance.
- Leading health, safety and environmental activities across the project
- Conducting audits, inspections and investigations where required
- Promoting a proactive safety culture across all levels of the workforce
- Working closely with client representatives and project management teams
- Driving continuous improvement and best practice throughout the project lifecycle
Previous experience as a HSE Manager on major construction, industrial or energy projects.
- NEBOSH qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and site safety management
- Experience working within engineering, power generation, process, energy or heavy industrial environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with everyone from operatives through to senior management
