Job Description

Are you an instrument designer tired of working inside IR35 and missing out on your take home pay?

Do you want to get back into a buzzing office environment, working alongside an experienced Engenda Group team, not stuck at home staring at the same four walls? Don’t worry, you will get your Fridays at home to get your weekend plans started early.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll join Engenda Group’s flagship EPC office in Falkirk, the Antonine Hub, set right on the edge of Callendar Park, one of the town’s most attractive green spaces.

This is a long‑term contract role outside IR35, with good take home pay and the stability of working on a number of different chemical and downstream projects.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for designing and producing the instrumentation systems that support numerous chemical and downstream projects, including instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, hook‑ups, layouts, and detailed design drawings. Every instrument, every signal, every connection runs through your work.

You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop practical, buildable solutions that keep projects moving forward. You’ll be involved in complex, high‑value projects where your design experience will make a real, visible difference.
