An exciting new rooftop restaurant and bar, opening 29th October at The Gantry Hotel, Stratford, featuring open-air terraces, private dining and panoramic views across East London. Enjoy steaks, fresh seafood, sushi and signature cocktails in a spectacular setting on the 18th floor.
As our operation continues to grow, we're looking for talented and ambitious Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team.
You'll be working in our rooftop restaurant kitchen, in a vibrant dining environment. It's a fantastic opportunity for Kitchen Porters who enjoy variety, take pride in their work and want to be part of an ambitious, growing team committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
What we're looking for
We're looking for KPs who take pride in what they do and genuinely care about the kitchen.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter within a quality restaurant, hotel, events or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for restaurants
- A proactive, positive and team-focused approach.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- The ability to perform well in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
- High standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
The role
- Minimum wage plus tronc
- Monday-Sunday operation
- A variety of positions across restaurant service and event preparation/production
- Working patterns will depend on the specific position and business requirements
