EnGarde Games is looking for a detail-driven Project Manager / Scrum Master to guide our hybrid development teams through the production of EnGarde World, our upcoming online, multi-platform game. You’ll help establish and maintain smooth workflows using Agile methodologies, ensure teams stay aligned across time zones, and remove blockers before they impact production. If you thrive in fast-moving, creative environments and love helping teams succeed, this is your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of development sprints across hybrid and remote teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Ensure the team adheres to agreed workflows, timelines, and scope.
  • Own the task boards in Jira, Trello, or similar tools to track progress and prioritize backlogs.
  • Coordinate with leads across design, engineering, art, and QA to resolve dependencies.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and address impediments to team productivity.
  • Champion continuous improvement and team morale through feedback and facilitation.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of project management experience in hybrid or remote game development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies; Agile certification (e.g., CSM) preferred.
  • Proficient with project tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to work across departments and time zones.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and calm under pressure.
  • Bonus: Previous experience with indie or mid-scale game projects.
  • Bonus: Technical familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or online infrastructure tools.

Performance Expectations

  • Deliver consistent sprint cycles with minimal delays or bottlenecks.
  • Establish team-wide usage of Agile tools within the first 2 months.
  • Support delivery of key production milestones aligned with EnGarde World’s roadmap.
  • Maintain stakeholder satisfaction and positive team morale throughout development.
