About the Role
You will play a key role in sourcing events/hospitality packages, putting together proposals and purchasing; involving negotiation with suppliers, researching and sourcing event packages, and maintaining strong relationships with our Sales teams and Suppliers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong commercial mindset, exceptional communication and administration skills, and attention to detail. You will be working closely with the wider commercial, events and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing: Support the Commercial team in researching & sourcing event packages. Respond to enquiries from the sales team on a daily basis in a timely manner – understanding the clients’ requirements and detailing the different options on offer to the sales team (using the company’s pricing model and internal systems).
- Procurement: Responsible for purchasing/procurement and raising Purchase Orders.
- Supplier Negotiations & Relationship management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, securing the best products and services for our clients. Negotiate prices and terms to manage cash flow and improve margins. Provide excellent customer service to the Sales teams, ensuring their clients’ requirements are understood and met.
- Stock management & general administrative tasks: Involvement in managing the stock position, purchasing of products and setting up events / general administrative tasks within our in-house system (EOS).
Key Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience of procurement and/or sourcing is desirable. Administrative experience; understanding of negotiating with suppliers and working within budgets and building and maintaining great relationships with clients.
- Skills: Strong administration, negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Accurate with a keen attention to detail. Strong numerical skills. Good written and spoken communication and mathematical skills – personable and confident, good phone manner. Excellent computer (MS Office) and administration skills – experience of using Microsoft Excel. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work on simultaneous proposals at one time. An interest in Sports & Events.

Working hours
Permanent, full-time, working days Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Location
London, office based with opportunity to become hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day WFH once passed probation period).
