  • Budgeting: Create, develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards, ongoing budget control with the client and final account reconciliation.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality events that meet their objectives.
  • Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Identify and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Oversee the procurement of event materials and services. Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Event Execution: Oversee on-site event setup and management. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events, and adapt to changing circumstances. Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct debrief meetings with clients and team members. Collect and analyse feedback to assess event success. Prepare detailed post-event reports and recommend improvements for future events.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale events.
  • Education: Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional organisational, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Creative, detail-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure. Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative team player.
