Key Responsibilities
- Effectively addressing user concerns through your expertise in operating systems, software applications, hardware components, data analytics and/or service management.
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering a positive and collaborative IT support environment while meeting service level agreements.
- Maintain and review accurate documentation of IT processes, reporting and user guides for future reference.
- Adhere to and promote cybersecurity best practices, contributing to a secure computing environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and departments, including analysts and project managers, to understand user needs and contribute to technology-related projects.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to adapt to the evolving IT landscape.
- Work within Agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Analyse and troubleshoot complex technical issues, proposing effective and efficient solutions.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users, both verbally and in writing, fostering a positive support experience.
Purpose Of The Role
As a consultant you will contribute to the Information Systems and Support team, participating in the procurement, design, development, testing and maintenance of application and data services.
Essential Experience
- Understanding of ITIL service management or Agile Methodologies or data analytics.
- Experience of working in an IT service environment.
- Understanding of IT systems/services.
Desirable Experience
- ITIL Practitioner or Agile Practitioner.
- Experience of working with UK Armed Forces, defence sector or OGDs.
