Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to recruit for a Project Engineer, based in Aberdeen. The company is undergoing significant growth, offering excellent opportunities for development, training, and progression. As a key member of an established team, you will take responsibility for managing the full life cycle of large-scale projects, covering both onshore and offshore scopes.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project quotations, including engineering, manufacturing and testing costs.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and contract milestones, reporting on progress, costs and resources.
- Coordinate technical documentation for bids and projects, including drawings, procedures and risk assessments.
- Chair project kick-off meetings and participate in design and operational reviews.
- Oversee timely delivery of drawings and documents to meet project schedules.
- Raise purchase requisitions, manufacturing requests and testing procedures.
- Prepare work packs for field surveys and offshore operations.
- Coordinate client and third-party test inspections and manage risk activities.
- Follow management of change processes and ensure offshore personnel mobilisation.
- Compile manufacturing records and close-out reports, including revenue summaries.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least two years of project experience. Our client is open to candidates currently in a Project Coordinator role who are ready to take ownership of their own projects and step into a Project Engineer position. Applicants must be organised and possess strong relationship-building skills.
