Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client to source and recruit a Production Manager, based in Aberdeenshire. Our client operates in the oil and gas sector, and you would be joining a growth-oriented manufacturing business specialising in engineered material solutions and advanced product production. The company has demonstrated strong momentum since its launch and continues to invest in innovative manufacturing processes, making this an exciting time to join the team.

You will oversee a small workshop team and be responsible for all aspects of the production process. This is an excellent opportunity for a supervisor to step up into a management role and play a key part in the business as it continues to grow.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee manufacturing and production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Develop and manage daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production schedules
  • Take responsibility for factory production equipment and ensure proper maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity across all product lines
  • Maintain hygienic and safe conditions for both employees and the facility
  • Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Communicate any challenges or obstacles to senior management in a timely manner
  • Monitor productivity rates, production standards, and quality control measures
  • Train, mentor, and coach staff to build a high-performing team
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have people management experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment and bring a methodical, structured approach. You will also have a strong understanding of production processes, including planning, workflows, budgeting, manufacturing priorities and health and safety compliance.
