Administrative Assistant – reporting to the Managing Director. The role supports the human resources function of the client, a leading organisation in the oil and gas, renewables, defence and nuclear sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update company HR records on HR systems, including absence, performance concerns, training and compliance.
- Prepare monthly HR reports for board inclusion.
- Provide payroll support for new hires, leavers, salary changes and allowances.
- Advise managers on company HR policy and ensure HR deadlines are adhered to.
- Liaise with 3rd-party HR specialists and managers on specific employer-relation cases.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process and exit process with support from recruiting managers.
- Assist in processing accounts payable invoices and month-end reconciliations.
- Provide general administrative support to the office.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong multitasking skills, be proficient in Microsoft 365, and have a willingness to develop knowledge of HR and finance disciplines. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
