Engage Talent Partners are working on an exclusive basis with our client to source a Project Coordinator to join their established and growing team. Based near Laurencekirk, the company operates in the oil and gas, nuclear and wider energy sectors and you would be joining them during a very exciting time. The business has enjoyed a successful year to date with some high-profile contract wins and has aspirations to grow over the next few years.

This role is responsible for supporting service projects, planning, project kick-off activities, coordinating manpower and mobilisation requirements, monitoring materials, tooling and logistics, and ensuring relevant documentation, certification, insurance, purchase orders, travel and accommodation arrangements are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend planning meetings and project kick-off meetings.
  • Focal point for key accounts, workshop and other stakeholders as well as offshore personnel.
  • Delivering manpower to Engineering and Projects using the onboard and service tracker to ensure competent resources and mobilisations.
  • Liaising with Supply Chain to ensure procurement/materials are obtained as required, regularly monitor and review material progress in order to mitigate delays.
  • Liaising with workshop regarding tooling, goods inwards, hire equipment, deliveries, inventory held and provide necessary paperwork for delivery.
  • Identify project deliverables to provide quoting and estimating to client’s request.
  • Planning and booking travel, accommodation for mobilisations.
  • Responsible for field personnel insurance, certification and PO’s.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be comfortable working with a variety of internal stakeholders to coordinate people, tooling and materials in line with project timescales and requirements. You will be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and be an excellent communicator.
