Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to hire a motivated and proactive Junior ROV Technician based in Aberdeen. Our client is a leading provider in their field, delivering services to the renewables, marine and oil and gas sectors. We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Junior ROV Technician to support the preparation, maintenance and testing of subsea mechanical tooling and associated equipment. You will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, servicing and fault‑finding tools. Based in Aberdeen UK, the position may require occasional regional travel and offshore support.
Responsibilities:- Service reports, inspection records, and equipment documentation.
- Commission new ROV tooling.
- Prepare and test ROV equipment returning from hire.
- Provide technical support to clients.
- Complete client invoice records.
- Attend offshore training and undergo an offshore medical.
- Attend mobilisations and site interface testing.
- Maintain the stock control system used for spares and consumables.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or another applicable technical discipline.
- Solid understanding of hydraulics and mechanics.
- Ability to read schematics.
