Engage Talent Partners are working exclusively with our client to recruit for a Project Engineer based in Aberdeen.

Our client is a multi-award-winning company and operates in multiple sectors and you will join them at a very exciting time.

The business has enjoyed a successful year to date with some high-profile-contract wins and has ambitious plans for further growth.

The successful candidate will join an established projects team with the opportunity to develop and progress their career.

You will act as the single point of contact for any scope and be involved with the full project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and work with the Procurement team to ensure parts are delivered on time to meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare all necessary project documents, including the final product data book, according to client requirements.
  • Schedule and monitor the progress of projects, to ensure they meet project deadlines.
  • Provide progress reports to clients and senior management, clearly explaining the status of all projects and notifying them promptly of any expected delays.
  • Participate in product testing and ensure clients are informed in time for any third-party witnessing that may be required.
  • Track and monitor project budgets to ensure they meet or exceed profit targets.
  • Prepare commercial documents and pass information to the accounts department to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Prepare project close-out reports and give feedback to the business on actual versus estimated costs and any lessons learned.

Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a Business, Engineering or Project Management related subject however our client is open to those who are qualified at HND level and have relevant work experience.

The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of experience in project coordination, with a particular interest in those with experience in a manufacturing environment.

Applicants are to be innovative thinkers, able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.
