Engage Talent Partners is supporting our client to recruit a Business Systems Specialist, based in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation focused on continuous improvement, operational efficiency and maximising the value of its business systems acting as the systems administrator.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and enhancing ERP-driven processes, working closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for improvement, optimise workflows and help deliver business change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ongoing development, optimisation and effective use of ERP and business systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Analyse workflows and support the implementation of process enhancements and system improvements.
  • Gather and document business requirements, supporting solution design, testing and deployment activities.
  • Work with stakeholders across operations, procurement, finance, supply chain and other business functions to ensure systems effectively support business objectives.
  • Develop reports, dashboards and management information to support decision making and performance monitoring.
  • Provide user support, guidance and training to maximise adoption and effective use of business systems.
  • Assist with data quality initiatives, system upgrades, integrations and continuous improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP or business systems in a process-driven environment and a track record of supporting, owning and continuously improving ERP platforms. You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders across multiple business functions and may come from a business systems, ERP, operations, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing or process improvement background.

Experience analysing business processes, gathering requirements and delivering system, process or workflow improvements would be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem solving are essential. You should be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions that improve efficiency and support business objectives.
