Engage Talent Partners are working with our client to hire motivated and proactive Graduate Electrical and Mechanical Engineers based in Aberdeen. Our client is a leading provider in their field, delivering services to the renewables, marine and oil and gas sectors. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior ROV Technician to support the preparation, maintenance and testing of subsea mechanical tooling and associated equipment. You will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, servicing and fault-finding tools. Based in Aberdeen UK, the position may require occasional regional travel and offshore support.

Responsibilities:

  • Service reports, inspection records, and equipment documentation.
  • Commission new ROV tooling.
  • Prepare and test ROV equipment returning from hire.
  • Repair ROVs.
  • Technical support to clients.
  • Complete client invoice records.
  • Attend offshore training and undergo an offshore medical.
  • Attend mobilisations and site interface testing.
  • Maintain the stock control system used for spares and consumables.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other applicable technical discipline. A solid understanding of hydraulics/mechanics and ability to read schematics would be desirable.
