Our client is a well-established manufacturing business with a global reach. Reporting directly to the CEO and managing a multi-disciplined engineering team consisting of Design Engineers, Project Engineers, and Designers, this role will suit an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a dynamic and challenging position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplined engineering team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Oversee the delivery of multiple large-scale client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Act as the primary technical authority and escalation point for complex engineering challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes, systems, and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including direct reporting to the CEO, to align engineering strategy with business objectives.
- Manage resource planning and allocation to ensure optimal utilisation across projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Promote innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance engineering capability.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will have a strong background in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams with demonstrated experience delivering complex, large-scale engineering projects.
