Engage Talent Partners are supporting our client to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a maternity cover position based in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative HR team in a broad generalist role supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR support, managing employee relations matters, supporting recruitment activity, and contributing to people initiatives across the business.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including advertising, screening, interview coordination, offer management and pre-employment checks.
- Deliver structured inductions and support onboarding processes, including probation reviews.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management, engagement and employee development matters.
- Support employee relations activity including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and investigations.
- Prepare and issue employee documentation while maintaining accurate HR and payroll records.
- Maintain and report on HR data using HR systems to support business decision-making.
- Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
- Support wellbeing initiatives and wider people-focused programmes.
- Assist with development and delivery of internal training and development initiatives.
- Coordinate visa applications and support international employee relocation processes.
You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong generalist background and a sound understanding of UK employment law. You will be confident supporting managers across a range of employee relations matters and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with experience maintaining HR systems and contributing to policy development and people initiatives. Experience supporting recruitment processes, onboarding activity and wider HR projects would be advantageous.
