Machine Inspector

Job: Machine Inspector, Edinburgh\\n\\nMain Duties and Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Support site business objectives and operational improvements.\\n\\n * Ensure production of quality parts and customer satisfaction.\\n\\n * Maintain quality, cost, and delivery standards.\\n\\n * Be flexible and adaptable, including rotating between work areas and adjusting to overtime or shift changes.\\n\\n * Inspect templates, dies, and machined parts in various areas (Hot Forge, Marking Off, Pipe Shop, Die and Aircraft, Template Checking).\\n\\n * Perform numerical computations and set up jigs and fixtures.\\n\\n * Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.\\n\\n * Conduct risk assessments, weekly inspections, and daily checks on forklifts and cranes.\\n\\n * Continuously improve work processes and participate in continuous improvement activities.\\n\\n * Assist with training and communication within the team.\\n\\nKnowledge and Experience:\\n\\n * Time-served engineer (HNC).\\n\\n * Strong numerical ability.\\n\\n * Knowledge of safe working practices and quality systems.\\n\\n * Experience working in a team.\\n\\n * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
