About the Role:

Our manufacturing client is seeking a dynamic Yard and Logistics Manager to oversee all dispatch yard activities, including material movements, storage, and transport logistics. This role involves leading the yard team to ensure productivity, safety, and adherence to processes, while reporting on key metrics to drive efficiency and ensure on-time deliveries. You will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Manager to align on operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise and motivate yard employees, ensure safe task execution, and develop training plans.
• Planning: Optimize yard activities and storage capacity.
• Collaboration: Attend production meetings, lead daily updates, and report on metrics.
• Safety: Maintain high safety standards, conduct inspections, and ensure PPE use.
• Quality: Report defects, perform corrective works, and ensure quality checks.
• Improvement: Implement lean methods and support yard expansion.
