We’re partnering with a growing international manufacturing and technology business entering a significant phase of expansion, transformation and operational maturity. As the organisation scales globally, quality is becoming a central strategic function — not a support department.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Group Quality Manager will become the organisation’s senior authority on quality governance, systems, standards and continuous improvement. This role is for someone who can walk into a room of engineers, supply chain leaders, operational stakeholders and senior executives — across multiple countries and functions — and influence how things are done.
You’ll operate with a wide span of influence across the business, partnering closely with an overseas manufacturing facility, shaping processes that don’t yet fully exist, improving those that do, and creating a quality culture capable of supporting long-term international growth. This is an individual contributor role in the truest sense — high visibility, high trust, high accountability.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading the creation and evolution of a fully integrated Quality Management System capable of supporting a growing international operation.
- Driving ISO 9001 implementation and certification activity.
- Creating governance frameworks and operational quality standards.
- Acting as the senior escalation point for customer and supplier quality concerns.
- Embedding structured corrective action and root-cause methodologies.
- Building stronger quality collaboration with international manufacturing operations.
- Developing meaningful KPI reporting and performance visibility for senior leadership.
- Influencing continuous improvement activity across engineering, operations and supply chain.
- Supporting the business through operational growth, complexity and change.
The Person
This role will suit someone who enjoys operating in environments that are still evolving. Someone who sees ambiguity as opportunity. Someone commercially aware enough to understand that quality isn’t just compliance — it’s reputation, customer trust, operational efficiency and business scalability.
You’ll likely bring:
- Significant experience within quality leadership in manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors.
- Strong ISO 9001 knowledge and implementation experience.
- A track record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders at senior level.
- The confidence to challenge, improve and build credibility across all levels of a business.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with strong personal ownership.
Why This Role Stands Out
Senior quality roles often inherit mature systems, this one gives you the opportunity to shape one. You’ll join a business with ambitious growth plans, international reach and genuine momentum — at a point where your contribution will directly influence how the organisation evolves over the coming years. It’s a role with visibility, autonomy, strategic influence and the opportunity to leave a genuine mark on a growing global business. For experienced quality professionals looking for more than maintenance and compliance, this is the kind of opportunity that rarely comes to market.
