We are partnering with an exciting and fast-growing music business to appoint a commercially focused Finance Director to support the next stage of growth.
Operating across areas including recorded music, publishing, rights, licensing, live and digital revenue streams, the business is looking for a hands-on finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational delivery in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
This is a high-impact role partnering closely with the leadership team to drive commercial performance, improve financial visibility and support scaling internationally.
- Lead and develop the finance function across financial control, reporting, FP&A and commercial finance
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic decision making, growth initiatives and operational performance
- Deliver meaningful commercial insight around revenue performance, profitability and business drivers
- Improve financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities as the business continues to scale
- Manage external relationships including auditors, banks, investors and advisors
- Support M&A activity, integrations or international expansion projects where required
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience operating within the music, media, entertainment or wider creative industries
- Strong understanding of complex revenue streams including royalties, licensing, subscriptions, digital or IP-led income
- Commercially minded with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience improving processes, systems and financial visibility within scaling businesses
