Engage Education is currently working with a welcoming school in Brighton, and we’re looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a nurturing nature, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support students across a range of ages and abilities, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You’ll work closely with teachers to assist in lesson delivery, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help students overcome barriers to learning.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting children in the classroom with their learning and development
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Assisting the teacher with planning and resources
  • Providing additional help to students who may need extra support
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (in a school, childcare, youth work, or similar setting) is ideal but not essential
  • A caring, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with both students and staff
  • A genuine interest in working in education and supporting young learners
