About Engage Education
At Engage Education, we recognise the transformative impact that skilled and dedicated SEND TAs have on the lives of children and young people. We are currently expanding our team of experienced SEND TAs to support our school in Bexhill.
We\’re seeking professionals with proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, particularly those with SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and complex SEND profiles.
The role
- Full-time positions available – start immediately.
- Competitive, market-leading rates of pay
- Supporting students with EHCPs and additional needs
- Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
- Provide personal care (if applicable) and tailored support for pupils with high and complex needs
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans
Ideal candidates will have
- Previous experience working in specialist or mainstream settings with children or young people with SEND
- Knowledge of or experience with conditions such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, SpLD, or PMLD
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
- A compassionate, adaptable, and professional approach to supporting learners with varying needs
