I am currently working alongside a school in Hassocks that is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with SLD and ASC. This is a full-time, long-term position starting asap, with the potential to go permanent at the end of the academic year. The daily rate is between £85 to £95, depending on experience.

About the role:

  • Full-time, long-term contract
  • £85 to £95 daily rate
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups with students with moderate to severe ASD
  • Training and regular CPD provided by the school

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be willing to work in a special needs setting
  • Have experience working with children or young people
  • Can work from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Is patient, reliable, and nurturing
  • Will be available to trial and/or interview immediately
