Job Description
Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a School in Hastings who are looking for an outstanding KS3 SEMH teaching assistant to join them on a full time, long term basis. This role is to support a Year 7 student.
Your Role:
- Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with behaviour challenges
- Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
- You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities

- To have worked with learners with a range of needs
- The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
- To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
