SEMH Teaching Assistant –Hassocks
We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with a number of our partner schools in the Mid Sussex area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to young people who may face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, helping them to re-engage with learning and reach their full potential.
About the Role:
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Building positive, trusting relationships to help pupils feel safe, understood, and motivated
- Supporting pupils to manage emotions, develop coping strategies, and improve behaviour for learning
- Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and other professionals to implement personalised support plans
- Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle
