We are seeking committed, resilient, and compassionate Support Staff to join a specialist provision supporting secondary‑aged students with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives within a nurturing and structured educational environment. The Role
- You will work closely with students who require additional support to access learning, regulate emotions, develop social skills and build independence across the school day.
- Support will take place both within classrooms and within a dedicated specialist setting.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students in lessons to remain engaged and focused
- Encouraging independence, resilience and positive behaviour
- Assisting with emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Building strong, professional relationships with students
- Supporting interventions, social activities and structured routines
- Working collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff
- Providing calm and consistent support during challenging moments
