The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Flexible day to day supply as well as full time longer term roles available. Can accommodate teaching from EYFS to Year 6 roles in primary schools in Wakefield. Monday to Friday term time only, 08:30am until 15:30pm. QTS required. ECTs more than welcome to apply!

About the Role

Engage Education is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to work in its partnered primary schools in Wakefield. The role offers the opportunity to develop your teaching practice while contributing actively to whole-school support and classroom delivery. You will join a supportive and dedicated team in a nurturing environment with excellent facilities. The school is committed to the professional development of its staff and provides a strong foundation for early career teachers looking to grow, gain experience and make an impact.

Ideal applicant will be:

  • QTS and UK school based experience
  • Confident taking on HLTA responsibilities including leading small groups, covering classes and supporting lesson delivery
  • Experienced in working with children across primary age ranges
  • Able to guide and support teaching assistants, including contributing to their professional development
  • Confident working with pupils with a wide range of SEND needs
  • Able to demonstrate a secure understanding of the National Curriculum
  • An inspiring educator with a genuine passion for working with children
  • Creative, enthusiastic and able to bring new ideas to the classroom
