Early Years Supply Teacher needed for day-to-day flexible supply from 08:30am until 15:30pm in Wakefield. QTS required; ECTs more than welcome to apply!

About the Role:

Engage Education are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Supply Teacher to work in our partnered primary schools in Wakefield on a supply basis. This role offers the opportunity to develop your teaching practice while contributing actively to whole-school support and classroom delivery. You will join a supportive and dedicated team in a nurturing environment with excellent facilities. The school is committed to the professional development of its staff and provides a strong foundation for early career teachers looking to grow, gain experience, and make an impact.

If you are passionate about teaching, able to assist in planning and delivering lessons, support student progress, and provide leadership among support staff, we would love to hear from you.

The ideal applicant will be:

  • QTS and UK school based experience
  • Experienced in teaching EYFS children in a Nursery or Primary School UK setting
  • Able to guide and support teaching assistants, including contributing to their professional development
  • Confident working with pupils with a wide range of SEND needs
  • Able to demonstrate a secure understanding of the National Curriculum
  • An inspiring educator with a genuine passion for working with children
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and able to bring new ideas to the classroom
