A warm and nurturing primary school in Three Rivers is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children and helping them develop strong foundations for their education.
The Role
- Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Assisting the class teacher with engaging, play-based learning activities
- Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and development
- Supporting children's communication, social and emotional development
- Helping with classroom preparation and daily EYFS routines
- Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND, where required
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with young children in a school, nursery or childcare setting is desirable
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
