Engage Education is working in partnership with a caring and inclusive Roman Catholic primary school in Droylsden to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1. About the RoleAs a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across Year 1 and Year 2
- Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading, writing and maths
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost confidence and attainment
- Help prepare engaging classroom resources and learning activities
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a nurturing classroom environment
- Support children with varying learning needs, adapting your approach where required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team to ensure every child reaches their potential
