About the Role

We are looking for a warm, creative, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive Day Nursery in Reigate, Surrey. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. Please note that this role is for a Day Nursery, so applicants must be happy with shift work and supporting babies to pre-school age groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and creativity in early learners.
  • Support the development of key early skills in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing insights with parents and carers.

Person Specification

  • Level 3 EYFS Qualification – essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.

  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and creative approach to teaching.
  • All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work.
