Are you a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for flexible work in Three Rivers? We are working with a range of friendly and welcoming primary schools who are looking for reliable Supply Learning Support Assistants to support pupils on a daily, short-term and long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school settings while making a real difference to children’s learning and development.
The Role
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil confidence and independence
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting is desirable
- A patient, caring and positive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, reliable and able to adapt to different school environments
- Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
