We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Secondary Maths Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Stockport.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, offering full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.
The Role
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and promote a love of mathematics.
- Assess, monitor and mark students’ work in line with school policies.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic achievement and personal growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Maths department.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school.
- Confident delivering the Maths curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and improving student outcomes.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
