We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established secondary school in the Stockport area, seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their successful Design & Technology department from September.
This is a full-time, long-term position with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and marking.
The Role
- Teach Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons that inspire students to develop valuable life skills and a passion for food and nutrition.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and support pupils in achieving their full potential.
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom and food preparation environment.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Food Technology within a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.

- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
