As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring students remain focused and engaged throughout lessons.
About the role:- Supervising classes across a range of subjects in the absence of teaching staff
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students complete set work
- Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
- Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement
- Taking registers and reporting any concerns to relevant staff members
- Maintaining a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
- Building positive relationships with students and staff across the school
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Confident managing groups of students in a classroom environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
