You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard in line with school health and safety expectations.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, desks, touch points, and equipment.
- Vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors as required.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
- Clean toilets, washrooms, and staff facilities to a high standard of hygiene.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to school staff.
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and site procedures.
- Work independently or as part of a cleaning team depending on the site.

- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).

- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Understanding of health & safety procedures (training can be provided).
