We are recruiting a School Caretaker in Clapham. The role operates 7 am–4 pm, Monday–Friday, on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis.
About the Role
- As a School Caretaker you will be an experienced facilities professional supervising work across the school with both external and internal contractors.
- You will hold key‑holder responsibilities and be expected to:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
- Conduct security work, overseeing the main gate at break and lunchtime
- Paint and decorate
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels and soap
- Carry out general maintenance work
