We are recruiting a School Caretaker in Clapham. The role operates 7 am–4 pm, Monday–Friday, on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis.

About the Role

  • As a School Caretaker you will be an experienced facilities professional supervising work across the school with both external and internal contractors.
  • You will hold key‑holder responsibilities and be expected to:
    • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
    • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
    • Conduct security work, overseeing the main gate at break and lunchtime
    • Paint and decorate
    • Empty trash cans and replace liners
