School Administrator required for a primary school in Clapham. At Engage Education Services, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Full-Time School Administrator to work in a school in Clapham. Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools.

Role details

Working hours are Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:45pm and 4pm finish on Fridays, during term time only. Temp – perm.

Responsibilities

  • Using the school’s internal system to record a high volume of data
  • Assisting the Office Manager & Office Staff with various administrative tasks
  • Answering the phones
  • Welcoming Visitors and Parents
  • Communicating effectively with students, staff and parents in a professional and friendly manner
  • Covering reception duties
  • General administrative tasks
  • Assisting with attendance, admissions and welfare

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience of working in a busy school or college environment
  • A real passion for working within an education environment
  • Experience utilising SIMS
  • Searching for pupils and updating their information
  • Access emergency contact details
  • Checking registers/amending when needed
  • Checking student’s lunches/record dinner money payments
  • Calculate attendance percentages
