This Reflection Learning Centre Manager role is based in a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Leeds rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to lead and manage their Reflection Learning Centre, supporting pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral support to successfully engage with their learning.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams, SEND staff and teaching staff to create a calm, structured and supportive environment where students can reflect on their behaviour, regulate emotions and successfully reintegrate into lessons. Your Role
- Managing the day-to-day running of the Reflection Learning Centre
- Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to minimise disruption and improve behaviour across the school
- Promoting positive behaviour strategies and supporting restorative approaches
- Monitoring student progress, behaviour and engagement within the centre
- Providing feedback to teachers, parents/carers and senior leaders
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, ADHD, Autism and other additional learning or behavioural needs
- Encouraging students to develop self-regulation, resilience and positive attitudes towards learning
