School Administrator / Receptionist Required for Primary & Secondary Schools in Reading.

At Engage Education Services, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff for over a decade. We’re currently looking for enthusiastic Part-Time & Full-Time School Administrators / School Receptionists to work in Primary & Secondary schools in Reading / Berkshire. Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools.

Our Engage Education Services team specialises in the placement of non-classroom based staff including Administrators, HR, Finance and Facilities. Working hours are Monday – Friday [8am – 4pm], during term time only. Short Term Temp, Long Term Temp, Permanent or Daily Supply. The hourly rate ranges between £15 – £18 per hour.

About the role:

  • Using the school’s internal system to record a high volume of data
  • Assisting the Office Manager & Office Staff with various administrative tasks
  • Answering the phones
  • Welcoming Visitors and Parents
  • Communicating effectively with students, staff and parents in a professional and friendly manner
  • Covering reception duties
  • General administrative tasks
  • Assisting with attendance, admissions and welfare

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience of working in a busy school or college environment
  • A real passion for working within an education environment
  • Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role or ARBOUR
