Engage Education is recruiting Primary Cover Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a number of friendly and supportive primary schools in Haringey from September 2026.

The Role
As a Primary Cover Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 using the school’s planning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils can learn and thrive.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with each school’s policies.
- Adapt quickly to different schools, year groups, and classroom environments.
- Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
- Provide clear feedback to the class teacher at the end of the day.
We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
