We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Mitcham that is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. You’ll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, helping pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils in class, on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy and phonics activities
- Helping pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom resources
